Sartorius has an opportunity for a Senior Expert Data Architect who will beresponsible to drive the understanding and interchange of data in biopharmaprocesses through definition of data formats, technology and infrastructuredesign.Main Responsibilities and Tasks:Define a data architecture blueprint that utilizes available proventechnologies, standards, techniques and systems for efficiently storing,accessing and transforming data produced by bioprocess package units, actorsand sensorsResponsibility as a domain architect for the development of target andtransition architectures for dedicated application and technology areasContinuously improve the IT development plan, as well as ensure the globalcompleteness of the current statusFurther develop of methods and processes regarding a sustainable IT enterprisearchitecture in the context of digitization and agile process modelsDefine architectural principles, IT standards and ensure compliance with themAnalyze and evaluate requirements and their effects on the enterprisearchitectureSupport in designing the IT strategy for data exchange and data storageincluding data formatsPrepare decision documents and decision templatesWork in close cooperation with business process management, internal ITbusiness partners and solution architectsLead or direct others, seen as a subject matter expert, may mentor orprovide expert guidance as neededProvide senior level support or guidance to technical support team and ProductDevelopment teams as neededQualifications and Skills:10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Architectures5+ years' experience working as data architect in cloud ecosystems5+ years hands-on experience with reference technologies in dataarchitecture such as OSIsoft PIExperience with automation standards such as ISA-88 is a plus3+ years of experience with methods for the design, planning andimplementation of enterprise architectures (EAM), preferably accordingto international standards such as TOGAF or ZachmannAbility to define processes in the EAM environment and experience with atleast one EAM tool, preferably LeanIXMust have strong personal initiative and be results orientedProven ability to work successfully in teams with excellent written and oralcommunication skillsDriving our future growth requires talented people.
