What is the role and where can you add value?The Marketing Manager is an essential part of the Sales and Marketing Team, developing strategies that drive all B2B sales and marketing initiatives. The primary objective of the Marketing Manager is to develop, organize and implement the go-to-market strategy and the associated initiatives, campaigns, and programs that drive revenue growth to support our Real Estate and New Home channels. This will include identifying and analyzing new opportunities, developing and creating content, facilitating collateral production, executing programs and tracking and reporting on results.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, develops and executes marketing programs and product marketing initiatives aimed at driving revenue and growing market share, with a focus on accuracy, deadline adherence and tangible results

  • Leverages existing marketing agreements to enhance retention and penetration rates; identifies, develops and implements long-term nurture strategies and programs to ensure continued awareness and patronage

  • Builds and maintains quarterly and annual marketing project plans that align with overall organizational objectives; manages to and delivers upon set forth initiatives, timelines and impact

  • Develops and executes demand generation tactics and programs in support of strategic initiatives to support field sales staff to increase awareness and use of product. Tactics could include, but aren’t limited to: email, landing pages, videos, flyers, webinars, trade shows, events, public relations, etc.

  • Oversees social media marketing and online reputation efforts; implements new and inventive programs to drive increased awareness, higher field sales adoption and new business

  • Extremely proficient in copyrighting and content creation, and exhibits high attention to detail when producing and proofing all materials

  • Interface with field sales organization to disseminate objectives, garner feedback and facilitate content distribution. Works with Sales Representatives to translate marketing requirements into functional campaigns using all available tools and / or suggesting new tools

  • Must be a strategic thinker, but possess the ability to execute tactically

  • Serves as marketing liaison to strategic accounts to understand market and customer needs. Conducts regular conference calls, meetings and follow up visits with accounts to ensure execution of the marketing plan while developing and refining new marketing strategies, tactics and opportunities to grow brand awareness and account penetration

  • Stays current on industry news and latest trends to identify and act on new opportunities

  • Improves all agent facing tools, including portal site, for increased acquisition and penetration

  • Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience should you bring to this role?

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced Marketing degree advantageous.

  • Minimum of six years related experience

  • Marketing experience and career progression in a corporate marketing environment is required.

  • Must have well-rounded, hands-on experience with all facets of marketing and marketing automation, to include and exceed duties listed in this job description.

  • Must have outstanding computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, and knowledge and use of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud (or similar marketing automation tool) is desirable.

  • Sales process knowledge and presentation capabilities with the ability to convey complex features and benefits in a simple to understand manner is critical.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building cross functional relationships, excellent organizational skills and a proven track record of successful project management and the ability to drive a project from concept through implementation is needed.

  • Self-starter, extremely organized and detail oriented

  • Minimum amount of travel may be required.
