Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Systems Administrator based out of Aurora, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

  • Primarily be responsible for installing, configuring, securing and maintaining Windows servers and workstations, as the primary domain administrator.

  • Will also assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of a Linux baseline, consisting of bare metal servers, workstations and virtual machines.

  • Work is often done in close collaboration with software, system, network and security engineers, both on the program and at the factory.

  • Deploy regular patch updates to Linux and Windows machines

  • Deploy, manage, maintain, and support Windows and Linux servers and workstations

  • Create user accounts and administer user privileges

  • Assist users with debugging and resolving identified issues on their systems

  • Respond to monitored alerts to quickly identify trouble source and implement resolution

  • Assist with implementation of technical security technology and IT projects as directed

  • Collaborate in authoring system documentation and procedures


Basic Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: 2 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters; 4 years with an Associates; 6 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance

  • Active Sensitive compartmented information (SCI) access

  • Adjudicated CI Polygraph

  • Current Security+ CE Certification (DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification; IAT Level II)

  • Experience as an administrator of a Windows Server 2016 domain or Linux

  • Experience with WSUS, Active Directory and GPO management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Red Hat 7 administrator

  • Experience as a VMware administrator

  • Experience as an administrator of Windows 10
