Engility is dedicated to making lives better, safer and moresecure.Description: Engility, the sole provider for the Remote Sensing Systems Engineering &Integration (SE&I) team in Aurora, CO or Colorado Springs, CO has animmediate need for an experienced cybersecurity engineer to support thestrategic planning and tactical execution of cyber integration, RiskManagement Framework (RMF), and Defensive Cyberspace Operations(DCO) activities for the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) insupport of the Space and Missile Systems Center Remote Sensing Directorate(SMC/RS). Major duties of the position include: Ensuring the cybersecurity architecture and design of the customer'ssystems are functional and secure with the ability to protect, detect,respond and sustain. Recommend mitigation efforts for cybersecurity events. Overseeing system and network designs that encompass multiple computer andnetwork devices to include those with differing dataprotections/classification requirements. Providing security engineering, integration services, technicalassessments, and solutions to enable Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO). Defining system security requirements, assessing system securityarchitecture designs, and supporting the development and sustainment of anenterprise Risk Management Framework (RMF) Accreditation package throughall lifecycle phases. Supporting cybersecurity activities for space, ground, operations,logistics, and sustainment elements of the Remote Sensing enterprise byidentifying risks, issues, and interdependencies between systemelements, contracts and stakeholders. Developing DCO and incident response Tactics, Techniques and Procedures tomonitor and protect the system from cyber-attacks. Collaborating with prime contractors, other support contractors,government civilians, and members of the Department of Defense.Qualifications: Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering,Aeronautical, Communications Engineering (technical), Math,Physics, or similar Active TS/SCI Clearance 9 years of strong demonstrated Cybersecurity engineering or InformationAssurance experience Able to obtain an Information Assurance Management Level III CertifiedInformation Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalentcertification, in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M Proactive engineer who takes the initiative to identify, own and solvecustomer problems Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, andinterrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams Experience managing operational transitions and fielding complex satelliteand ground systems Knowledge of development lifecycle, project integration, scheduleanalysis and stakeholder processes Demonstrated experience working with Air Force/DoD customers in Operationsand Sustainment environments Experience with SBIRS ground systems, space systems, and/or enterprisesystems engineering Experience with DoDI 8530.01, Cybersecurity Activities Support to DoDInformation Network Operations and CJCSM 6510.01B, Cyber Incident HandlingProgram Proven ability to provide technical analysis, program management insightand thought leadership to a government customer Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings Ability to travel periodically between Aurora and Colorado Springs, CODesired Qualifications: Master's Degree Ability to assess system Mission Critical functions and develop cyberdefensive tactics and procedures to respond to cyber events Experience in defining, developing, implementing and sustaining systemaccreditations for Air Force Space Command, Air Force and Department ofDefense systems and networks Strong familiarity with UNIX, Linu
