Global Dimensions End User Technician - 2 - CO in Aurora, Colorado
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Troubleshoots, repairs, and tests computer workstations, MFDs, phones, desktop VTCs, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
Installs, configures, and un-installs computer workstations, MFDs, phones, desktop VTCs, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment and associated cabling.
Conducts sites surveys; assesses and documents current site configuration and user requirements.
Provides labor for the physical and logistical efforts in non-technical tasks required for hardware and other electronic equipment installation and/or removal/sanitization.
Follows all proper processes of equipment classification and sanitization.
Stages, organizes, performs labor on, and moves hardware.
Conducts equipment surveys and inventories.
Assists in the dismantling, sorting of components, and disposing of retired equipment.
Provides assistance in maintaining material accounting and process related records to ensure 100% accountability for items processed, and provide direct database updates with equipment data details.
Participates in refresh activities, project support, and regional IT support.
Requirements
US Citizen
Active TS/SCI with FS Poly
Typically requires (8) years of IT hardware installation/support/maintenance support experience, or an IT-related Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with four (4) years of experience.
Certifications: An IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required Sec+, certification or higher required
Able to support travel requirements to other sites within the region, generally 1-3 days in length, including travel time (10%).
