PSI Title: Enterprise ArchitectWork Location: CO - Aurora DescriptionEssential Functions and Job Responsibilities:PSI seeks an Software Architect to help shape DHA integrated systems andplatforms that support Government healthcare now and into the future. Thesuccessful candidate's core responsibilities will include, but not to belimited to:Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applicationsand operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis,design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on moderatelycomplex problems that require an appropriate level of knowledge of the subjectmatter for effective implementationApply principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capabilityto specific task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles andmethods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems inengineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutionsAssist other senior consultants with analysis and evaluation and with thepreparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization,development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties:information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications,automation; communications protocols, risk management/electronicanalysis, software; lifecycle management, software developmentmethodologies, and modeling and simulationMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field(e.g., computer science, engineering, information systems); aminimum of 10 years of experience to include software architecture experiencewith a program of a large size and complexityA minimum of 10 years of experience to include data architecture/datawarehouse experience with a program of a large size and complexityExperience working with DISA management, system administrators, networkteams, and service desks, to coordinate DHA ECS DISA changesDemonstrated ability to lead a team of specialists in developing network,and technical architectures in support of complex and highly sophisticatedclient/server and mainframe applicationsAbility to develop network and technical architectures for complex and highlysophisticated client/server and mainframe applicationsDemonstrated ability to develop and execute architecture strategies,feasibility studies, and integration analysesAbility to supervise and provide guidance in implementing variousarchitecturesAble to independently gather and define the architecture requirements andensure that the architectures are compatible and in compliance with theappropriate IT organization and project standardsCommensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology thatdirectly relates to the required area of expertiseCurrent Security+ certificationExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, communication, presentation, strategic, andinterpersonal skills to act as a liaison with different levels of managementU.S. Citizenship is required.
