PSI Title: Information Assurance LeadWork Location: CO - Aurora DescriptionEssential Functions and Job Responsibilities:Lead the IA team, and lead the analysis and definition of highly specializedsecurity requirements for networks and computer systems, which may includeLANs, WANs, mainframes, workstations, and personal computersUtilizing a variety of security techniques, technologies, and tools todesign, develop, and implement security solutions for highly sensitivecomputer systems and networksIntegrating and implementing computer systems security solutionsGathering and organizing technical information about an organization'smission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programsin computer securityFully participating in all phases of the systems lifecycle includingrequirements gathering, preliminary and final design, systemsdevelopment, integration, testing, and operations and maintenanceDirecting or performing vulnerability and risk analysis and participating in avariety of computer security penetration tests and/or studies during allphases of the system development life cycleEnsuring compliance with DOD DIACAP/RMF security requirements and providesappropriate modifications to the DIACAP artifacts as required when changes aremade to the systems' controlled configurationMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an information assurance/cybersecurity related field(e.g., computer science, engineering, management, accounting,finance) with 10+ years of Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurityexperience managing, planning, documenting, and resolving security andinformation assurance issues with a large complex program with integratedsoftware systems, including applications and databases. An equivalentcombination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may beconsidExperience leading the overall role of relevant System Engineering andIntegration efforts on a large scale, complex technical programCurrent CISSP certification; Security+ certificationSecurity DBA skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience with database IA(specifically Oracle) to include the application of DoD Security TechnicalImplementation Guides (STIGs)/ RMF CCIs and the completion of IAchecklists (e.g., DoD 8500.2)1+ year of experience with DOD communications security (COMSEC) toinclude familiarity with communications software products (e.g.,Government-provided Connect:Direct, Secure File Transfer Protocol [SFTP]).Experience in Information Assurance (IA) requirements analysis; RMF;experience with Virtual Machines (VMs) in an Enterprise levelenvironment; experience in STIG/IAVA implementation and DoD 8500.2 IACheck list; and experience with assimilating systems accreditationinformation and documentation (IATO/IATT/ATO/C&A Plan)Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, communication, presentation, strategic, andinterpersonal skills to act as a liaison with different levels of managementU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
