You're a great contributor to a high performing team thataccomplishes great feats for our clients.What You Will Do:Oracle Security Database Administrator (DBA) must interface with otherDBAs, Application Administrators (AA), third-party systemadministrators, Program Management Office, Leadership, and the end-usercommuniSustain and enhance the security posture of 40+ Oracle databases.Monitor databases for compliance and IA activities necessary to protect datafrom unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification,perusal, inspection, recording or destruction.Develop, update and enforce policies, procedures and standards dictated byguidelines produced by government and program mandates.Gather system and security controls documentation.Track vulnerabilities by creating Plan of Action and Milestones (POA.and.M)Manage the configuration and documentation contained in the program'sinstance of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS).Report on database-related Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts(IAVA) and ensure timely completion.Continuous monitoring of DoD Oracle 12c Database STIG complianceReview new STIG releases and communicate changes to the DBA teamCreate and maintain a template checklist with detailed steps to address eachrequirement in a systematic approach across all databases.Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures to comply with applicableRMF controlsCreate automated STIG configuration checks that result in non-compliancenotificationsPerform annual self-assessment across all databases and track openvulnerabilities.Assist and advise the DBA team on possible solutions to open vulnerabilitiesand STIG compliance. Possible proof of concepts may be required todemonstrate secured functionality.Enforce the continuous monitoring strategy through the use of tools such asSplunk, Oracle Cloud Control, ACAS reports, scripts to perform databaseuser/privilege review, etc.Advise on secure implementation strategies for database projects such as DBMSupgrades, etc.Code Reviews for database development and configuration managementactivities, established by the Change Management Plan and Change ManagementWorking Group.College-level communications skills, being able to communicate clearly,both orally and with written communications.Required Skills:7+ years of experience to include Oracle database administrationexperience in a Solaris /UNIX environmentExperience with Oracle Database 12c, 18c and/or 19c.Working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting and/or Perl.Familiarity with Oracle DB patching, Cloning, and DataPump features.Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication.Experience with managing database security using Oracle Enterprise Manager
