Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Network Organization is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to drive circuit delivery across our core network and infrastructure teams. The Network Organization develops and operates the network platform for all of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This platform is industry-leading for its efficiency, performance, reliability and scale and it is critical to the success of all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers.
As a seasoned TPM you will always “put the customer first” and have the mentality of “act now and iterate” while building innovative cloud native products. You will demonstrate strong communication skills to coordinate the across teams that are either operating in silos or don’t have mature processes. Lastly, you will be expected to help mature our existing processes partnering with engineering teams and product teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects
Excellent attention to detail
Experience working with circuit delivery of various types such as lit waves, dark fiber, IP & more
Strong fiberoptic infrastructure troubleshooting skills
Experience working in/around network infrastructure at datacenters
Experience in managing and executing large-scale, complex technical projects and delivering high quality products
Experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical related field
Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
Project Management & reporting skills
Excellent analytical skills
Substantial background in large-scale networks
Manage large-scale technology programs, define milestones and success criteria, allocate resources, and deliver products on-time
Own processes partnering with product teams and engineering teams
Influence technical decisions in working with large, cross-functional teams
Lead efforts to communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company
