Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Your Role

As the Principal Technical Program Manager with primary focus on OCI Architecture Initiative program, you will work closely with architects and engineers across OCI to drive complex, business critical cross-OCI and cross-Oracle initiatives and programs. You will partner with engineering architects and various stakeholders to understand the engineering challenges and business goals, formulate plans to solve them and work across the org to drive the programs to completion.

The role will involve leading these programs and working with your peers to co-ordinate with related programs. You will be responsible for strategy, planning and execution for your programs. You will manage the cross functional and cross organizational team and be responsible for the successful completion of the program. You will be joining in the early stages of this Architecture initiative that offers a great amount of autonomy and an opportunity to influence the structure and future state of the team. This role offers huge upside potential with a lot of visibility across the organization and at senior leadership levels. This is a unique situation to partner with smart and senior technical leaders who are solving difficult cross-organizational challenges while operating at a massive scale.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA is a plus

  • 8 years of experience in managing large scale technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizations, from conception to delivery

  • Ability to lead multiple programs operating concurrently

  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to team with and influence engineers, architects. TPM/PM and product managers across the org

  • Software development experience
