Description

E Source provides independent research, information, advisory, and consulting services to utilities and other key players in the energy marketplace. Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of our customers’ operations, programs, and customer relationships.

E Source is looking for an Associate Analyst to join our Marketing and Communications department. The ideal candidate will provide actionable responses to on-demand research requests from E Source’s more than 300 utility members across the U.S. and Canada, and will contribute to research reports. E Source’s member utilities depend on us for unbiased research about internal and external marketing and communications strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research via primary and secondary sources

  • Answer high volume of frequent member research requests

  • Identify best practices from various types of utility marketing, communications, and education campaigns

  • Present research findings via live web conferences and in-person conferences

  • Employ new business applications such as systems for project management, customer relationship management, and document management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, public policy, energy, political science or related field required

  • A minimum of two years of relevant industry or professional experience, preferred

  • Strong writing, research, analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated interest in energy efficiency and the energy utility industry, preferred
