Working in an agileprocess with the delivery stakeholders the engineer will define and implementprocesses/automation which supports the reliable and performant operation ofcloud or on premise infrastructure. As part of a global team the engineer mustensure compliance with company wide guidelines and standards.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for configuration, optimization, documentation and support ofthe infrastructure components of our software products which are hostedprimarily in cloud servicesDesign and build tools and frameworks that support deploying and managingplatformsDesign, build, and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services,and underlying software infrastructureAssist in coaching application developers on proper techniques for buildingscalable applications in the microservices paradigmFoster collaboration with software product development, architecture, andIT teams to ensure releases are delivered with repeatable and audit-ableprocesSupport and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance,monitoring, backup and restores of different environmentsWork independently across multiple platforms and applications to understanddependenciesEvaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed,efficiency, and scalability of continuous integration environmentsDesign and architect solutions for existing client facing applications as theyare moved into cloud environments such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft AzureSkills and Experience Preferred:2+ years experience with containerization/orchestration technologies toolslike Kubernetes, DockerExperience in delivering and managing web or cloud-based servicesExperience SCM tools such as Git/GitHub/BitbucketExperience with scripting and automated process management via scripting,such as Go, Bash, or Pythonpreferred Skills:Experience with config/provisioning tools like Ansible, Chef, TerraformExperience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQExperience with networking concepts like Routing, SNMP, Web ApplicationFirewalls, Load BalancingExperience with NoSQL and SQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, MS-SqlExperience using monitoring tools such as Datadog, SumoLogic, NewRelicExperience working in and using Agile methodologyTrimble provides the following compensation range and general description ofother compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might payand/or offer for this position.This compensation range is based on a fulltime schedule.Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less thanthe posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation,depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other statusprotected by local, state, or federal law.-Compensation Range Minimum:$89,700-Compensation Range Midpoint:$118,800-Bonus Eligible?Yes-Trimble offers benefits that include Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA,HSA, Life, Disability, Time off plans, Paid Parental Leave, Employee
