Jewish Community Center Digital Marketing Coordinator in Boulder, Colorado

Principal Responsibilities: Are you creative with a passion for social media? Are you inspired to keep our community informed about everything we have to offer? Our dynamic and community-centered organization is looking to add a creative, detail-oriented, and engaging Digital Marketing Coordinator to the team. The primary role of this position is to tell the story of the Boulder JCC through engaging content that sparks conversation. The Digital Marketing Coordinator uses the Boulder JCC's social media platforms, website, email marketing, and more to engage with the community and build a strong external presence for the organization. As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be supervised by and work most closely with the Marketing and Communications Director, while also working with the Graphic Designer and staff throughout the organization. The position requires an affinity to work both independently and collaboratively to reach the best solutions, efficiently and effectively handling varied requests, and proactively anticipating changing needs. Please note that due to safety concerns of COVID-19, this position will onboard and begin working remotely with some onsite hours required. We expect this position to work the majority of hours onsite once it is safe to do so, with the ability to continue to stay connected and work remotely when necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manages social media platforms and strategy to meet marketing goals, increase the reach of the Boulder JCC, and encourage engagement with community members, partners, and other organizations * Develops and manages the editorial calendar * Creates engaging content and campaigns for use across platforms in partnership with departments across the organization * Manages and updates the Boulder JCC website and employs SEO strategies * Creates and maintains email campaigns, schedule, and list segmentation * Establishes, tracks, and reports on engagement metrics for all social and digital platforms * Manages paid digital advertising opportunities and campaigns (i.e. social and PPC ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google) * Attends Boulder JCC events to engage with community members and capture engaging content * Drafts media releases/articles WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position works primarily during normal business hours, typically Mon-Fri, 9 am - 5 pm with some weekends and evenings as needed. Due to safety concerns of COVID-19, this position will onboard virtually and begin working remotely with some onsite hours required. The health and safety of our staff is our top priority. As such, we have put extensive COVID-19 policies and procedures in place for employees working onsite, and continue to have all employees whose jobs can be performed remotely to continue to work offsite. You will be provided a laptop, and need to establish a space with stable internet connectivity from which to work during business hours. We expect this position to work the majority of hours onsite once it is safe to do so, with the ability to continue to stay connected and work remotely when necessary. While performing regular duties, you will be required to sit, stand, reach, walk, or kneel, and to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities. COMPENSATION This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $38,000 - $41,000 commensurate with experience.
