Manages teams supporting and/or implementing multi-functional and/or multi-location projects and/or systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria. Develops and manages an effective risk mitigation strategy for the project(s).
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Successful track record as a manager. Detailed knowledge of technical and business concepts of a number of related applications areas. BA/BS degree preferred.

Senior Director, SaaS Change Management Team
Oracle SaaS Service Management Experience Engineering team is looking for* dynamic, self-motivated team player* for to lead the SaaS Change Management framework.
As the owner of SaaS Change Management program within Oracle’s SaaS Cloud, you will be responsible for overseeing a change management process framework in alignment with various services within Oracle’s SaaS offerings. You will be managing a global team of change managers focused on coordinating orchestrated delivery of new products, features, and overall improvements into the Oracle Cloud environment. A key area of emphasis will be to ensure SaaS service teams clearly understand potential risk and reduce unexpected impact while executing changes at cloud scale in an agile manner. The Oracle Cloud environment is ever growing both through acquisitions and as well as environment transactional volume increases. This influential role will be responsible for developing and executing a scalable change management process/procedure as well as tool workflows following common cloud best practices. In addition, this position will continuously collaborate with each Cloud Property DevSecOps team to organize and schedule both production impacting and non-impacting changes. The role will drive continual improvement into the greater process through data-driven decisions to increase further stability and overall elasticity into the Global Oracle Cloud Environment. The Oracle Cloud SaaS business is a major focus point of the company and area of extremely rapid growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing global Change Management team focused on ensuring proper coordination, communication, and execution planning takes place prior to changes being made into live environments
Meet regularly with CloudDevSecOps teams to build change schedules and ensure adequate change execution resource availability.
Ensure a common change execution processes for all change types at cloud scale
Develop, document, and deploy best in class change management process and procedures
Develop change management metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis
DirectDevSecOps teams to follow documented standard operating procedures as well as guide the development and thoroughness of existing documentation to constantly improve the environment and supportability of the Oracle Cloud environment
Translate identified process and procedures into tracking tool workflows to achieve deployment efficiency, required metrics and general stakeholder visibility to individual change execution status
Conduct post maintenance window review to identify areas of improvement. Continual follow up of identified action items may be required until resolved
Measure and manage team performance for change management execution
Communicate information both to senior management as well as local CloudDevSecOps teams regarding necessary process/procedures adjustments
Participate within postmortem investigations for change induced outages and provide review and resolution suggestions for both internal and external customer consumption
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The candidate will have deep experience in Post-Sales Technical support and more specifically will have the experience described below:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and or team management and/or 8 years equivalent work experience
Overall understanding of cloud-based architectures
Prior experience in mission-critical cloud-based support role
Familiarity with common cloud change management best practices
Have familiarity with Regulatory and Compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA, etc.)
Experience working for cloud SaaS service providers
Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with local and English oriented teams
Strong analytical skills to review data trends and execute data-driven decisions
Project release planning and management experience
Familiarity of Oracle Cloud platform technologies
Awareness of general LAMP and WAMP platform architectures
ITIL Practitioner
Prior experience with documentation and management tools such as Confluence and JIRA

EDUCATION
A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Chemistry with 3.0 GPA
OR proven professional/technical experience, i.e., demonstrating an understanding of Applications at a functional and technical level (preferably Oracle).
