SomaLogic, Inc. IT ServiceNow Administrator in Boulder, Colorado

Position Summary:

SomaLogic is a privately-owned bioinformation company that developed a revolutionary proteomics technology capable of measuring thousands of different human proteins in a single small blood or other type sample. We are a dedicated team of colleagues now moving towards commercializing the health-related information derived from our platform to help people worldwide proactively manage their health. As a part of our commercialization effort, we are seeking additional expertise to join our dedicated team and help us realize that vision.

We’re looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Administrator to design, develop, build, configure and support our ServiceNow platform. This role will coordinate and lead all ServiceNow activities. This position reports to the IT Operations lead.

Key Job Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Administrator

Ÿ Main point of contact for ServiceNow across the enterprise.

Ÿ Provide functional and technical leadership for ServiceNow

Ÿ Design, develop, build, configure and support ServiceNow

Ÿ Triage ServiceNow application issues through end-user interaction and technical troubleshooting to resolve technical end user tickets

Ÿ Administrate ServiceNow workflows.

Ÿ Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications

Ÿ Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes

Ÿ Coordinate application and platform upgrades

Ÿ Develop systems integrations and process automation

Ÿ Configure and maintain SLA, catalog items and their associated workflows

Ÿ General support, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications

Ÿ Manage systems requests and backlogs

Ÿ Working closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices.

Ÿ Identify system bugs, configuration adjustments, and performance issues partnering with Application Teams to resolve the underlying root causes.

Ÿ Work with business and technical partners to identify, evaluate and prioritize application issues

Ÿ Drive ServiceNow Root Cause Analysis / Corrective Action activities

Ÿ Perform initial user setup and ongoing user access audit requirements

Ÿ Deliver customized training to teams within the business to drive down high-bar issues

Ÿ Create, report and iterate on ServiceNow Support Metrics to be reported to the CIO on a monthly basis

Ÿ Document all technical architecture, troubleshooting steps, and day-to-day procedures in the knowledgebase to share across IT and SomaLogic

Provide technical infrastructure and/or application level support for SomaLogic’s IT platforms



Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT, MIS or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Skills and experience

Ÿ 2 – 3 years’ experience as ServiceNow Administrator

Ÿ 5-7 years’ experience as IT Administrator

Ÿ Experience in Agile Development processes

Ÿ Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Ÿ Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ÿ Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience

Ÿ Critical thinking skills

Ÿ Ability to adapt communication style to effectively work with multiple levels within an organization

Ÿ Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management

Ÿ Preferred: Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry

Ÿ Preferred: Experience in enterprise-level IT organization

Ÿ Preferred: Familiarity with IT aspects of standards and regulations such as ITIL, HIPAA, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), GDPR, CCPA, etc.
