This role is focused on executing and managing marketing programs that support the firm’s business and revenue goals within the Energy business segment. Reporting to an Energy Marketing Manager, this person will lead and support a variety of external and internal programs including client events, conferences, marketing collateral production, website content management, thought leadership, partnerships, and social media. Critical to the role are Energy industry experience and a proven track record in project management and communication. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities. This individual must be able to work independently and take ownership of various marketing initiatives and operations. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong organizational skills with a background in marketing and understands the importance of getting the details right.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and support practice marketing programs that drive sales and revenue generation for the Energy practice

  • Support/lead the planning and execution of sponsored industry conferences and client relationship building events and meetings. This could include being the POC with practice teams, meeting planning, on-site meeting management, managing conference sponsorships, and metrics.

  • Proactively collect, track, and report marketing program ROI for industry association memberships, industry event sponsorships, and marketing programs.

  • Own budget for project expenses, including tracking spending and processing invoices

  • Manage third party vendor relationships.

  • Manage content updates on the firm’s internal and external websites.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.

  • Three to five+ years progressive marketing and communications experience, specifically managing marketing and communication programs, and client events.

  • Energy industry experience required.

  • Professional services, consulting industry experience preferred.

  • Outstanding writing skills, strong communication skills, with an emphasis on editing and proof reading, ability to interact with various levels of management.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle a wide range of concurrent activities

  • Very responsive with strong customer service capabilities including the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels.

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions independently.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher.

  • Experience with Sitecore content management, Sprout Social, Dynamics CRM and/or LinkedIn.

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions independently.

  • Communicate frequently with co-workers as well as with managers to discern their needs, and be able to express themselves

  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work

  • Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively

  • Generally works in an office environment
