Senior Systems Administrator
Candidate must have an active TS
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
System Admin Experience
The right candidate will possess a variety of skills both technical and soft.
You will thrive in a dynamic environment, be an outside the box thinker, have strong interpersonal skills, strong technical skills (any or many of the following: VM, Hypervisor, scripting, Linux, Windows, COTS, configuration management, ClearCase, GIT, Chef, Systems Administration) and work well in a team environment.
This will be an exciting, evolutionary and empowered position that will align with our current IA and cyber requirements.
We are looking for fearless individuals that are considered junior journeymen in any of the above areas of expertise.
Your time on this team will include opportunities to broaden and expand your skillsets to cover many of the above.
Applicant selected will be required to meet the Government required Information Assurance Workforce Enhancement Program requirements, at a minimum the Security+ Certification or equivalent.
Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent; wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions; works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources; frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
