SomaLogic is a privately-owned bioinformation company that developed a revolutionary proteomics technology capable of measuring thousands of different human proteins in a single small blood or other type sample. We are a dedicated team of colleagues now moving towards commercializing the health-related information derived from our platform to help people worldwide proactively manage their health. As a part of our commercialization effort, we are seeking additional expertise to join our dedicated team and help us realize that vision.
We’re currently looking for a Service Desk Technician to help continue the rollout and maintenance of our IT initiatives. Level commensurate with experience.
This is an initial contract position with a potential to hire.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide end user support with Windows and Apple/Macbook laptops and workstations
Configure equipment for new users
Upgrade and patch existing systems - OS level and application level
Hardware and software troubleshooting, installation and repair
E-mail client configuration (Outlook, mobile devices)
Networking (basic knowledge of switches, firewalls, VPN clients, wireless networking)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Networking, or related field; or equivalent work experienceSkills and experience
5+ years of experience in Service Desk experience
Experience with Windows 10 and Office365
Basic experience with Windows Server, Teams, Active Directory, InTune, SCCM, DNS, DHCP
Microsoft certification is preferred but not required.
Experience with Jira / ITIL based ticketing system a plus
Experience with ISO27001, HIPAA and AWS a plus
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in electronic format
Demonstrated ability to triage, investigate, analyze system issues using various tools and technologies
Must be able to follow detailed processes, and have demonstrated ability to solve complex security event scenarios
