SomaLogic is an EEO/AA employer(Minorities/Females/Disability/Veterans) committed to a diverse workforce.Position Summary:SomaLogic is seeking a dynamic Technical Specialist to support our innovativebiomarker discovery platform, the SomaScan Assay, SomaSignalTests, and related pipeline products.The Technical Specialist will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented commercialand technical group providing technical presentations, technical laboratorydevelopment activities and scientific and technical support of SomaLogic'score products. The work requires attention to detail, strong understandingof SomaLogic's core and associated technologies, and a deep understandingof client applications.This position will report to the Senior Director, Global ScientificEngagement.Key Job Responsibilities: Support and train external clients in using SomaLogic's core technologies Perform light activities related to equipment inspection in a laboratorysetting Deliver technology presentations to potential clients Support commercial team and customers with technical knowledgebase andproblem solving Assess equipment and laboratory technical capabilities for technologytransfer opportunities Represent SomaLogic at trade shows Be part of growing team for a new-to-market products Answer phone calls and emails from clients Troubleshoot protocols being run in client labs Train sales team members on messaging, as appropriate Document all technical inquiries in SomaLogic's Salesforce system Additional responsibilities as directed by the head of scientific engagementEducation and Experience: BS degree in the life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred At least 5 years laboratory experience, including technical troubleshooting MS Office expertise Experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries preferred Experience training others preferred Familiarity with CRM systems preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strictdeadlinesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintainrelationships Demonstrated understanding and technical mastery of the needs ofscientific customers and core laboratories including experience withsuccessful technology applications and study designs Molecular biology or biochemistry experience with nucleic acid or proteinresearch techniques desired Results-oriented with a drive to find solutions to problems Self-motivated, disciplined self-starter with an ability to workindependently Ability to adapt to change and work effectively on various assignments Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail andaccuracy Strong learning agility with an ability to learn, understand, andcommunicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain therequired technical expertise including competitive product knowledge Excellent presentation skillsWork Environment: Remote, home based office Ability to travel up to 30%Apply Here: https://www.click2apply.net/8OjVEGs7Nboyt71lFRAmQ
