The Role

Develop, build, and analyze financial models used to inform strategic priorities that support total company long-range planning. Engage with Senior Finance leadership to evaluate performance on key investment initiatives driving business transformation. Make recommendations and build support for Executive C-level decision making. Measure and advise on changes to internal financial guardrails and business case guidelines to ensure alignment with total company financial objectives.

Joins a high performing and trusted Corporate Finance team. Focused on continuous improvement towards a more dynamic and connected planning process. Team is also responsible for total company consolidation and governance, including Executive and Board financial management reporting.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Build complex financial models with ownership over model architecture and defending assumptions

  • Work cross-functionally to develop key metrics to improve forecast accuracy

  • Define parameters and perform scenario analysis to evaluate risk of potential impacts

  • Collaborate with team members to integrate financial models into Long-Range Plans

  • Advance modeling platform and capabilities to accelerate planning activities

  • Develop executive level presentations

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 6-8 years of progressive responsibility and experience in quantitative or financial analysis

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.

  • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills with experience in creating and maintaining complex driver-based models with fully integrated financial statements

  • Deep Financial, technical accounting, and capital structuring knowledge

  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies

  • Thorough and detail oriented, yet able to see the forest for the trees

  • Confidence under pressure, able to deal with ambiguity across a continuously evolving, fast-pace business

  • Ability to simplify analysis into presentations for executive consumption

  • Agile and flexible to manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines and reset priorities

  • Self-starter, must be able to work autonomously with ability to quickly identify solutions, and be both innovative and resourceful to get things done

Preferred Qualifications

  • Investment banking / Private Equity experience preferably within Telecom, Media, or Technology industry

  • Experience with M&A activity including deal structuring, diligence, and execution processes

  • Systems experience enterprise-class planning tools: Oracle, SAP, Anaplan
