Oracle Marketing Manager, Trial Conversion - N.A. Marketing in Broomfield, Colorado

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

  • Createcompelling inbound campaigns that fuel top of funnel acquisition growth

  • Conductdata-driven A/B tests using Optimizely in order to learn more about key driversof conversion leading into and within the trial process

  • Formulate acomplete understanding of user behavior both pre- and post- conversion.

  • Work tobuild value-added strategic partnerships with adjacent products or servicesthat build awareness Oracle Cloud within the market as well as position Oracleas a key player within the market

  • De-construct competitive best practices in trial conversion marketingfrom leading brands

  • Work with a cross-functional teamto create a road-map for enhancements that will improve theexperience for the end user within the trial and get them to understand thevalue of our product.

  • Driveinnovation in Developer experiences

  • Ensure campaign decisionsare data and market-driven

  • Collaboration and participation in cross-functional activities that allwork towards the common goals of marketing towards the developer audience

  • Budgeting and reporting - Proactively communicate the impact of overallmarketing programs in terms of key performance goals on a monthly, quarterly,FY basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor sdegree, MBA preferred

  • 6 years ofexperience working in B2B marketing

  • Previousexperience: 3-5 years of experience growing a PaaS/IaaS business throughiterative conversion testing

  • Solidknowledge of various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paidsearch, re-targeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,and more), content distribution, and placement networks

  • Strongtechnical proficiency with cloud PaaS/IaaS

  • Expertisein developer technologies and PaaS/IaaS Cloud services

  • Understanding ofdevelopers, developer technologies and app dev trends

  • Executionoriented, creative, and able to bring innovative ideas of how to engage a fastpaced, high growth market segment to build awareness and demand

  • Strongunderstanding of lead generation and flow within a B2B organization

  • Analyticalmindset with ability to track and report on marketing performance metrics aswell as lagging revenue attribution, revenue influence and ROI

  • Writingexperience: email marketing, direct marketing copy, and massaging productcontent into easy-to-understand benefits

  • Expertise inmanaging projects across various, regionally distributed teams

  • Excellentrelationship management skills with ability to build rapport, influence anddeepen relationships with stakeholders

  • Experiencewith CRM and marketing automation systems, Eloqua a plus

  • Strong anddisciplined project management and process improvement capabilities
