Oracle Oracle Solution Engineer - Revenue Accounting in Broomfield, Colorado

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

This is a critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle’s Enterprise Applications in North America.

In this functionalSolutions/Sales Consultantrole you will be responsible for helping to define and execute Oracle's ERP Cloud strategy to pursue Applications business in the North American market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle ERP solutions to client business challenges

  • Support the sales team by providing guidance on solution design and implementation approach

  • Facilitation of customer solution understanding through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle

  • Deal support for General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Invoicing, Contracts, etc.

  • Provide field and customer input into the product development process

  • Industry thought leadership in the supply chain marketplace

  • Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Lead any and all aspects of the sales process

  • Customer advocate for strategic customers,specifically in the office of the CFO

  • Understand and serve as a subject matter expert in Revenue Recognition Automation

  • Present a strong working knowledge of current revenue standards (ASC 605, ASC 985-605, IAS 18) and the converged revenue standard (ASC 606, IFRS 15), as well as Oracles Revenue Management Cloud, Financials Cloud, and maintain industry and competitive knowledge

Additional Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of ERP applications experience is preferred

  • Very strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of experience

  • Travel: 25-50% (once COVID precautions lift)

  • 5 years experience in Revenue Accounting with a strong working knowledge of current revenue standards (ASC 605, ASC 985-605, IAS 18) and the converged revenue standard (ASC 606, IFRS 15).
