Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Who are we looking for?
We are specifically looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our Security org. In this role, you will be responsible for driving both software and process deliverables across several different teams across OCI. You’ll be leading and manage programs from kickoff to completion. You'll be responsible for taking large, complex, and ambiguous problems, breaking them down into manageable pieces to deliver solutions them in a successful and timely manner.
Most successful TPMs are those that have a healthy startup mentality and a get-it-done approach to execution. Maturity, effective negotiation skills, and analytical talent are essential tools to be effective. This TPM role will engage with senior engineering leaders to drive various improvements and deliverables. You will be comfortable working independently through ambiguity, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
Responsibilities
Manage cross-team programs, defining milestones, success criteria, and seeing everything through to delivery
Act as primary escalation point for strategic initiatives focused on solving critical business and organizational challenges
Comfortable defining, generating metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency
Drive implementation of new processes and/or tools
Provide on-going written and verbal release status updates to senior leadership
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field
5 years’ experience in a technical project or program management role
Understanding of SDLC and modern application development with web services
Comfortable driving multiple deliverables in parallel across team and geographical boundaries
Executive-facing communication skills; strong oral and written communication and a knack to present ideas in a succinct, precise manner
Judgement, maturity, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills and leadership skills
Must be comfortable working with large amounts of data
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing software and/or hardware development
Experience managing cloud development projects
Experience in enterprise cloud solutions (OCI, Azure, AWS)
