This role on the Oracle Data Cloud (ODC) Go-to-Market (GTM) team will support the Data First Sales Team in efficiently inputting data to, and maintaining accuracy of, internal contracting systems and CRM systems. The Sales Support Specialist ensures contracting data is current, accurate and complies with Oracle practices and policies. The Sales Support Specialist will also monitor key deal metrics, via internal contracting & CRM systems, and engage internal stakeholders for follow-up where appropriate. Reporting into the Head of Client Partnerships , this role is also responsible for raising the overall level of satisfaction across Retail contracting & CRM, specifically as it relates to systems engagement and data monitoring.

Successful candidates will be capable of absorbing a broad range of business applications of data and analytics offerings to both digital and traditional marketing frameworks. Coupling this industry understanding with a detailed understanding of the ODC Retail business, you will support the Data First sales team with overall contract systems management and CRM systems to provide the voice of the business in Retail specific deals. The success of the Sales Support Specialist in navigating the contracting & CRM landscape will come from: a masterful understanding of the Retail business and Oracle contracting & CRM systems, deal prioritization, strong foundational relationships, a bias toward action, finesse in communication, and meticulous ownership and execution. Given this role is part of a GTM team; it does not serve to represent Oracle legal, Deal Desk, Compliance, Sales Ops or other groups within the Oracle contract management process .

Primary Responsibilities

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT – Diligently oversee and prioritize the execution of all contracting opportunities, from initial document creation through redline management to final signature, driving for efficiency, monitoring adherence to timelines, and maintaining accountability. Sales side representative at weekly status calls with Deal Desk. In addition to contracting management there will also be CRM management for monthly opportunity management & identifying opportunities to streamline workflow.

  • BUSINESS COMPREHENSION – Maintain a thorough understanding of the workings of the Oracle Data Cloud business, objectives, and product applications, as well as those of the ODC client base. Key POC for all things related to contracting systems for the Retail Team.

  • OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT Understand the goals, context, and nuance of each opportunity within the pipeline and ensure details are correctly communicated in internal systems, whether that is a self-serve IO, or partnering with Deal Desk to codify business terms into established paperwork.

  • RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT – Develop & maintain positive internal relationships as you liaise between all Oracle contract teams involved in the deal phase including Sales, Client Solutions, Deal Desk, Compliance and Legal.

  • TOOL & SYSTEM SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT – Discern themes in systems across the entirety of Retail contracting & CRM system to identify suboptimal aspects (e.g. process, tools, use case definition), develop recommendations for improvement, and work with Business Operations to implement solutions.

  • TRAINING & EDUCATION – Provides Sales team with ongoing training on system updates, tools, tricks and hacks.

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: An organized, meticulous approach to managing multiple complex projects. Impeccable execution in prioritization and setting and meeting timelines. Attention to detail such that no deliverable is neglected or set expectation is missed. Ability to manage administrative tasks along side of complex projects.

  • BUSINESS ACCUMEN: Has capacity to quickly understand both the big picture as well as nuance of complex details.

  • RELATIONAL SAVVY: Must have exceptional people skills. Works well in team efforts across multiple departments.

  • COMMUNICATION: Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.

  • CRM SYSTEM & MICROSOFT EXCEL EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in sales systems management and/or deal management is preferred.

  • COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP: Illustrated ability to drive to successful outcomes, maintain accountability of others, and do so with influence and finesse versus directive and confrontation.

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization

  • s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience.

Colorado Pay Range: From $24.60 to $43.05 per hour

From $51,161 to $89,535 per annum
