The Sr. Mgr Operational Support is responsible for defining the foundation of the incubation, identifying the key functions for each workstream. Manages the coordination of incubation program, as well as standardizing the tooling and processes across the program.
The Main Responsibilities
Essential Duties and AccountabilitiesResponsible for the strategic operations of the team, ensuring proper operational controls are in place to effectively grow while ensuring financial strength and efficiencies.
• Coordinates the incubator program as a whole and is the primary go-between for the projects and the steering committees. Also provides guidance on assessment for entry and drives the creation of the incubator pipeline. Oversee and manage all aspects of complex projects including the plan, resources, dependencies, change management and budget utilizing internal project management tools• Understand and integrate all aspects of change management into each project to proactively manage the change for customers and stakeholders• Work with stakeholders to prioritize and determine the project's acceptance criteria/critical success factors and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project• Utilize cost / benefit analysis to support prioritization of strategic initiatives. • Support business case development to secure capital funding to grow digital transformation for NAO. • Evaluate the implication of initiatives and effectively communicate impact and resolutions to business groups and senior or executive leaders• Ensure project objectives are met within the constraints of project scope, time, cost and quality• Actively monitor project dependencies and risks• Lead, motivate, manage and support assigned team members to ensure adherence to process and procedures and to maximize contribution to effectiveness and efficiency• Coordinate and communicate with project resources, internal team, stakeholders and vendors on all aspects of project progression/status• Measure progress and monitor performance (overall, scope, schedule, costs, quality)• Seek out guidance and delivery assurance input from senior leadership• Actively manage risks including issue escalation and resolution• Present project status in front of senior and executive leadership• Manage conflicts that may arise during the course of project and program execution• Engage continually with the broader organization, ensuring that executive leadership remains aware of opportunities to be considered or unanticipated problems to be addressed• Manage project managers on the team in all aspects of people management• Process sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, judgment, and tact• Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities• Collaborate with peers throughout the company, share best practices and implement new ideas and initiatives where appropriate
What We Look For in a Candidate
Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years related experience • Bachelor's degree in management, business, engineering, or related field helpful• Experience leading complex projects in the technology industry• Strong analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills• Experience with technologies and best practices across multiple platforms• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively, in a constantly changing environment• Ability to take initiative to develop new strategies and outside-the-box ideas • Ability to work independently or in a team• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals at all levels• Ability to efficiently utilize MS Office Suite of Applications specially Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications• Experience with JIRA and Power BI• Experience with the Agile Project Management methodology• Completion of formal externally recognized project certification requirements (e.g. PMI, PMP)• Telecommunications industry experience
