Job Summary

The Content Marketing Manager is a member of the Government Enterprise and Research Integrated Marketing Programs team and will assist in supporting the execution of go-to-market initiatives and programs. This role will work closely with the Vertical and Segment Marketing Program Managers to develop content strategy and write, edit and distribute content for a technical audience to support internal and external programs.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with Segment Strategy, Solutions Marketing and Marketing Program Managers to understand our buyers and transform concepts into internal and external customer-facing assets that speak to our buyer’s needs

  • Craft lead generation content assets, including eBooks, whitepapers, guides, etc. including copy writing and design

  • Produce internal communications, tools and resources for sales teams around programs and initiatives

  • Produce, update, and analyze core campaign assets including web pages, email copy, social copy,

  • Write blog posts or articles for 3rd party sites that speak to target audience needs and align with program themes

  • Manage nurture content journey maps and supporting email campaign copy, optimizing for best performance and generation of quality leads.

  • Keep a pulse on the industry, developing fresh themes, topics and concepts that translates to traffic and leads


  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years relevant experience

  • Excellent written skills. Must be able to create, edit and proof internal and external content and communications.

  • Proficient in AdobeCC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; video editing software, Excel

  • Ability to combine research along with qualitative and quantitative data to drive customer-first content

  • Background developing innovative content targeting internal sales and external customers

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly-motivated, autonomous and proactive.

  • Knowledge of telecommunications, technology and/or IT marketplace desired.

  • Strong understanding of product portfolio, key segments, target customers, customer challenges, buyer profiles, and buying criteria.

  • Creative and innovative thinker, who also possesses strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Self-starter, who can take initiative and work independently and proactively to resolve issues, take ownership for tools and processes and thrive in a highly collaborative environment

  • Experience using SEO and CRO techniques to optimize content for web-based conversions a plus
