The Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst is part of a newly formedcentralized planning and scheduling organization within Sierra NevadaCorporation (SNC). The Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst will beresponsible for developing and maintaining program Integrated Master Plans(IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) associated with theIntegrated ISR Solutions; Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance,Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Reports to and takes direction from the Planning and Scheduling Manager.Responsible for interfacing with Program Managers (PM), Control AccountManagers (CAM), Project Analysts (PA) as well as engineering andtechnical personnel.Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for assigned programs includingthe development of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP). The development,maintenance, and resource loading of an Integrated Master Schedule(IMS), as well as the establishment of a Program Management Baseline (PMB).Reviews status of projects, manages schedules and prepares status reports.Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity,quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.Monitors project progress and identifies potential schedule risks forintervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, andcustomers.Develops, maintains and reports against the Program Management Baseline (PMB).Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensuresall necessary reviews and approvals are received.Oversees and coordinates the administrative/operational aspects of ongoingprojects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager andcustomer.May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefitfuture/other projects, missions, and programs.Knowledgeable of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques, tools andreporting.Knowledgeable of scheduling fundamentals and techniques.Knowledgeable of Critical Path Method (CPM) technique.Knowledgeable of Schedule Health Assessments (SHA).Knowledgeable of Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Knowledge of Engineering Design and Management including Software Development.Knowledge of Proposal process.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong analytical and presentation skills.Ability to pay close attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks, integrate data, and be focused on achievingmission results.Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and directionStrong organizational and time management skills.Ability to coordinate schedules and operational activities efficiently.Develop, track and update schedules; resource load and leveling;validate remaining work; identify and resolve critical path conflicts;analyze impacts to schedule of any proposed changes.Handling multiple projects at one time and must be able to prioritize tasks,integrate data, and be focused on achieving mission results.Interface with various teams and must able to coordinate schedule reviews andupdates.Coordinate routine Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) meetings with Program& Operations Management and Customer Representatives.Use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications including MS Excel, Word,and Power Point for documentation of deliverables and technical reports.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project.Recommend and develop schedule management solutions, processes andprocedures to improve the reporting system.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hoursOther duties as assignedCOMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, andCompliance regulations (internal and external)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Recommend and develop schedule management solutions, processes andprocedures to improve the reporting system.Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, asdefined by managementSNC job desc
