E3 Federal Solutions Program Support Specialist-Colorado DODF8 in Centennial, Colorado

E3/Sentinel’s Defense Division supports customers across the Department of Defense, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of the Navy, National Guard Bureau, Office of the Inspector General, and Washington Headquarters Services. We are interviewing for a Program Support Specialist (PSS) to support our client, the National Guard Bureau (NGB), working the National Guard Employer Support Program (NGESP) in collaboration with the NG leadership. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience supporting human capital related programs, with an emphasis on employer relations to assist with finding employment for Air and Army National Guard service members. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as Government Contractor for National Guard Employment Support Program (NGESP), CO Program Support Specialist; provide Employer/Employment support to the Adjutant General (TAG) for NG service members and their spouses.

  • Daily duties include administrative, counseling & training (WRT job search strategies, resume writing, interviewing techniques) and employer coordination; state liaison and POC for connecting ANG/ARNG Service Members to employers and/or other support agencies (ESGR, VA, DOL, TAPS, etc.).

  • Conduct briefings and education trainings on NGESP via Community events, ESGR events & NG Unit specific events (YRRP, SRP, etc.).

  • Familiarity with the NG environment and systems (JSS & CASY) preferred; must be able to obtain favorable background check and CAC.

  • Must be able to travel and work weekends/evenings, as applicable.

  • An associate’s degree or equivalent life/work experience in a related field

  • Experience in making oral presentations to various size groups

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Military experience: A broad knowledge, experience, and skills in the areas of military personnel, and human resources, especially as they relate to balancing civilian life with military service. Additionally, the contract employee should demonstrate a working knowledge of all Employer Support Program activities and services
