Oracle Audit and License Compliance Management, Senior Director in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Directs people in, and leads the strategy for, the delivery of license management services and programs to customers and partners in managing their compliance with Oracle's contractual agreements, while ensuring productivity, revenue and value contribution to Oracle's business. Implements, directs, and monitors auditing policies, procedures, and standards.

Builds, executes and communicates the vision and strategy for own division, aligned to the LMS organization strategy. Creates short, medium and long-term business plans, objectives and KPI*s, to ensure Oracle's intellectual property is protected in the market through delivery of license management services and programs including license reviews, enterprise agreement management and license management advisories. Provides senior leadership and direction in driving license management results through efficient processes, enabling collection of compliance revenue and ensuring customer and partner satisfaction. Performs talent management including organizational design, resource planning, recruitment and development. Manages annual budgets and performs regular cost analysis reviews. Executive level ownership of escalations, directing timely resolution of compliance and business management issues. Drives innovation and change improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality and productivity of auditing practices and standards. Communicates results of license management activities to management and relevant stakeholders. Promotes collaboration by building strategic partnerships with peer organizations at executive levels, establishing support for the LMS organization, and driving adoption, improvement and optimization of LMS Services and Programs. Represents on behalf of the LMS organization to drive awareness of license management best practices and compliance topics in the market. Provides executive sponsorship to cross LOB projects and strategic initiatives.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge is important. Demonstrated leaderships skills. University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience. 8-10 years experience in people management is preferred. IT/asset management consulting, audit or customer management background in the software industry.

Role:

TheSenior Director is a key leadership position that directs the organization,develops and leads change in implementing the strategy of Oracle LMS whileensuring delivery of high quality software audits, protection of OracleIntellectual Property (IP) while driving customer satisfaction, teamproductivity, and value contribution goals to Oracle s business.

Scope:

  • Works as a key member of the Global LMSleadership team

  • Reports to the Global LMS Chief of Staff,manages a division of 60 people in the LMS Global organization

  • Has ownership of the assigned territory /segment and objectives

  • Works with other relevant LOB s SeniorManagement and VP s, customers / partners executives as relevant

Responsibilities:

Qualification:

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • University degree or equivalent combination ofstudies and experience

  • 8-10 years experience in audit management ispreferred

  • IT/asset management consulting, audit orcustomer management background in the software industry

  • Fluent English, other languages depending on themarket / region
