Position Description

What makes an exceptional Client Solutions Consultant, III, Bank Solutions? :

We are looking for an expert Client Solutions Consultant to work on the Retail Banking team. You will work in a team with Client Partners to understand the clients’ requirements, customize presentations for client meetings, prepare and give extensive product demonstrations and workshops.

You will be responsible for providing customers and Client Partners with business and technical product advice, preparing RFI/ RFP response and proposals, effectively delivering software demonstrations to potential and existing clients, and being involved in closing business in conjunction with the sales team.

As a Client Solutions Consultant III, you will:

  • You will work in conjunction with Client Partners to close business opportunities.

  • You will build and present customized demonstrations of the solutions in the Retail Banking domain.

  • In conjunction with the Client Partners, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the customers’ business, structure, practices, challenges and requirements within the context of the customers’ business sector.

  • Work with the Client Partners to develop and maintain a long-term strategic Account Development Plan.

  • Liaison with other departments (e.g. Product Management, Implementation, Marketing, Development) to build a virtual account team.

  • Excellent social skills with the ability to pick up on nuances of client interaction and communications and demonstrated ability to lead discussions regarding Retail Banking solutions across geographic and business unit boundaries including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, resolve conflicts, and mange problems.

  • Shown ability to build positive relationships and strategic partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders/customers across diverse groups.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a dynamic and changing environment.

  • Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills with the ability to take care of multiple constituencies and run multiple simultaneous objectives.

  • Excellent negotiation, conflict, and judgment skills to balance Fiserv and Client goals to ensure overall objectives are met.

Qualifications for consideration:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in solution selling.

  • Prior experience developing demos and presentations for customers.

  • Strong presentation skills and public speaking.

  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.

  • Ability to present solution to business and technology executives.

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills using the MS Office suite (emails, documents, presentations), with rigorous attention to detail.

  • Ability to travel up to 75%. Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology field, or equivalent experience

  • Ability to present technical concepts in clear manner to customers through demos and proposals

  • Experience in retail banking systems and how banks use those systems.
