Job Description Job Number: R0027974Cybersecurity Engineer, MidKey Role:Support a Cybersecurity mission by preparing client systems for Assessment andAuthorization (A&A). Provide subject matter expertise to client programsin various Cybersecurity areas, including Risk Management framework(RMF). Conduct security assessments and compliance activities by usingassessment tools and procedures and Security Technical Implementation Guides(STIGs). Document assessments results, including Continuous MonitoringPlan (CMP) and testing plans. Consult headquarters-level decision makerson the technical implementation of solutions for promoting the sustainment ofCybersecurity across multiple technology areas. Prepare client systems forassessment by running Security Test Procedures (STPs), Security ContentAutomation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC), and AssuredCompliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans. Support Computer NetworkDefense (CND) environment implementation of Host Based Security System,Arcsight, and other CND tools. This position is located in ColoradoSprings, COBasic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with information assurance, engineering, oroperational support to the DoD, including supporting informationoperations, Cyber operations, system administration, and systems security-Experience with performing automated and manual testing methods andprocedures using STIG checklists-Experience with evaluating information assurance (IA) compliance of asystem against current RMF and DoD Cybersecurity policies-Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems-Experience with assessment support tools, including ACAS and SCC-TS/SCI clearance-BA or BS degree-DoD 8570 IAT/M Level II CertificationAdditional Qualifications:-3+ years of experience with support to AF commands in the implementation orassessment or Cybersecurity controls or legacy DIACAP implementation-Knowledge of applicable regulations, including DoD 8500.2, DoD 8510,NIST SP 800-30, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53 Revision 4, NIST SP800-137, and CNSSI 1253-Knowledge with configuring and operating HBSS, ArcSight, and other CND tools-Ability to work both in a team and independently-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills-BS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Assurance-DoD 8570 IAT/M Level III CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may needto meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance is required.We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color,religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin,disability, or veteran status-to fearlessly drive change.We are proud of our diverse environment.
