Cybersecurity SME, Senior

Key Role:

Provide expertise in and support for IA or Cybersecurity. Assist with the creation, maintenance or administration, and troubleshooting of various IA or Cybersecurity site documentation and system presence within the configuration management process. Demonstrate proficiency in virtualization products, including VMWare and Hyper-V and develop, test, and operate firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems, and software deployment tools. Safeguard the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure. Research, evaluate, test, recommend, communicate, and implement new security software or devices. Provide recommendations for information assurance improvements, mitigating Cybersecurity risks, and accommodating changing information assurance related technologies. Rely on experience, interpersonal expertise, and knowledge of the field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with developing and implementing Cybersecurity technologies

-Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V required

-Ability to have a current passport

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS or Technology or 15 years of experience with Cybersecurity

-DoD 8140 or 8570 Cybersecurity Certification, including IAM II or IAT II required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting Cybersecurity for satellite systems desired

-Knowledge of SATCOM centers preferred

-TS/SCI clearance

-IAM III or IAT III Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
