Our Mission.'DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: This position provides systems engineering support for the 50thCommunications Squadron, United States Space Force, at Schriever AFB inColorado Springs, Colorado.PRIMARY DUTIES:Document current and future communications systems capturing all physicaltopologies and architecture within either or both the Phoenix Database andCyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) Visualization Component(CVC).Update base maps in Auto Cad, Visio, Bentley and enter into CVC.Be able to convert old drawings into current format and add them to the newdata base.Create or update drawings for: Base Infrastructure, building layouts andfloor plans, room drawings, manhole elevations, rack and cabinetelevations, cable routing plans, system line drawings, etc.Provide communications systems design, architecture design, and customersupport in defining current and future requirements. Solutions will includecommercial computer-aided design (CAD) or simulator products to documentthe requirement topology and architecture.Provide drawings in three forms, as-is (current), to-be(future), and as-built (post installation) for either newlyestablished or currently deployed systems and as an addition, change,delete until the system is decommissioned.Responsible for reviewing, inserting, and maintaining all drawings withinthe system of record.Determine technical solutions as well as develop, design and implement sitesupport.Provide problem analysis, technical assessments, and identify potentialoperational impacts to the 50 CS Government personnel.Ensure that all designed and developed technical solutions integrate withlocal, Air Force, and DoD architectures.Identify, document, and digitally store architectural and infrastructurechanges as they occur within Government approved system of record.Interface with and support other contractors and government agencies on dailybasis.Provide inputs to the Monthly Activity Reports (MAR) to the COR andGovernment Program Manager and maintain the records IAW records managementprocedures.Provide design support for all Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs),Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Letters of Agreement (LOAs),Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Operating Level Agreements(OLAs) requiring comm capability for Schriever AFB circuits.Provide designs that include system initialization, IT deviceconfiguration, troubleshooting, monitoring, security, networkprotocols, and network encryption.Perform configuration changes, including configuration and management of ITdevices within Schriever Circuit Actions' administrative control.Provide the design of upgrades, consolidation or new requirements to improveSchriever AFB network and cable infrastructure.Design communication infrastructure on base specifically tailored for thecustomer in support of new systems, upgrades, new circuit requirements,and the inclusion of new technology.
