Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented DTS SimStim Configuration & Data Management Planning & Control to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Develop, implement, track, and control all CM and DM processes, products, & artifacts in support of the Distributed Training System Simulation & Stimulation (DTS Sim/Stim). Responsibilities include developing & complying with CM & DM procedures, ensuring document & data management procedures are utilized, and identifying Configuration Items and ensuring they are under CM ownership for tracking & reporting.
Tracks all software received by product developers and all products developed by the DTS SimStim to include system architecture drawings, HW/SW configurations, Test Case/Scenarios, backups, and other items within the DTS SimStim baseline. Additionally tracks all HW/SW sustainment issues and ensuring they are captured in the SimStim Trouble Reporting System. Performs Configuration Audits and interfaces with Quality Assurance & Management teams when required.
In addition to the daily CM/DM duties, candidate may be required to backfill personnel supporting daily training operations during periods of personnel absence or surge conditions triggered by real world events.
Candidate must have 4 years of experience and must possess a Bachelors Degree.
The candidate must be able to learn to operate a Linux based system.
Must be able to adapt to short term deadlines and work well under pressure.
The ability to communicate effectively with multiple organizations using a broad spectrum of tools and to communicate complex concepts, issues, and status to senior contractor and government leadership is a must.
Experience or familiarity with developing & managing a CM baselined product.
Working knowledge or experience with developing and maintaining a data or artifact repository. Knowledge of missile defense concepts of operation, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and Integrated Missile Defense (IMD) system architectures.
Previous experience with the Missile Defense Agency, operations center, or a ballistic missile defense system such as (GFC or C2BMC).
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
