Join our team and thrive in a career that matters to the worldand you personally.The Systems Performance, Estimation, and Algorithms Department (SPEAD)performs algorithm development and evaluation as well as conceptdevelopment, systems engineering and architecture analysis support fornational security space customers. The selected candidate will provideanalytical support, systems engineering and architecting, and modeling andsimulation support for government customers in space domain awareness(SDA), resilience, and missile warning/missile defense(MW/MD). The selected candidate will interact directly with governmentcustomers as well as Aerospace program office personnel in the ColoradoSprings area and collaborate closely and mostly remotely with Engineering andTechnology Group (ETG) and program office personnel in El Segundo, CA,ChantillKey FunctionsProvide technical expertise and project leadership in the modeling andanalysis of SDA and MW/MD sensors and systems and their broadersystem-of-systems architecturesConduct a range of analysis using a framework of modeling, simulation andanalysis capabilities including in-house, custom and commerciallyavailable/government provided modeling toolsAnalyze electro-optical (EO), radar and passive radiofrequency sensorconcepts, architectures, and algorithmsAnalyze and develop algorithms for multi-target/multi-sensor tasking,scheduling, tracking, state estimation, and data fusionCompare performance assessments of architecture variants and conduct tradestudies on specific sensor capabilities, locations, and quantitiesProvide independent assessments and lead studies with teams of analystsderived from the most capable government/Federally Funded Research .and.Development Center/Systems Engineering Technical Assistance/contractor sourcesQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or anotherrelated technical disciplineEight (8) years of applicable aerospace engineering experienceThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a securityclearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.
