TukuhTechnologies, LLC, is an equal opportunity employer and encouragesdiversity inNow a little bit about you...The GIS Clerk/Technician will be trained for a variety of geospatialtasks, to include: collecting field survey data, exporting GPS data formapping projects, utilizing Esri Geo-Databases to create mapping products,plotting maps at various scales and sizes, learning MicroStation CADsoftware, typing documents as needed, researching and locating as-builtdata for clients, converting PDF documents, and other miscellaneous tasksas neThe position is currently part-time for 20 hours a week. Days and hours workedcan be flexible, but 20 hours a week must be met. This position has thepotential to become full-time 40 hours a week, depending on the individualand contract requirements and funding.Job Responsibilities will include:Field Survey Data CollectionProcess survey data into SDSFIE-compliant Geodatabase (GDB)Ad hoc map productionAs-Built data researchDatabase data entry and QCWhat are we looking for?HS diploma and 1-year experience in a professional environmentBackground in GIS, survey, geography, or CADAbility to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC)Excellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and self-motivatedAbility to meet quality and performance standardsComputer literate and proficient with MS Office productsA strong willingness to learnPreferred (but not required) Qualifications:Enrolled in a Geographical Degree Program including GIS, Geography, or GeologyStrong team player capable of adapting to a changing work environmentExperience working with military personnelAvailable to support after-hours Emergency Operations CenterThank you for considering Tepa, LLC and the Tepa family of companies in yourjob search!
