Description: About Engility: Engility is seeking a systems engineer to join our team of diverse GPSSystems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) team. The GPS SE&I Teamprovides specialized engineering, analysis, operations support, andsubject matter expertise to the SMC/GP Directorate and other GPS customers.The team also provides systems engineering and analysis services to includesystem development, enterprise and system architecture, acquisition,testing, operations, and sustainment support for existing and newcapabilities. Team members also provide an enterprise perspective foridentification and review of risks and risk mitigation plans and work toinstitutionalize systems engineering best practices across the SMC/GPDirectorate organization. This individual will be the GPS SE&I Test Lead forall aspects of the Contingency Operations Integrated System Test.Major duties of the position include: Execute enterprise-level test planning, test execution, and test closurefor system-level requirement verification Support system-level analysis and simulation activities to ensure GPS systemend-to-end performance Support test article tracking, deficiency reporting and test reportgeneration Analyze and support GPS segment (Space, Control, and User)verification and validation test activities Participate in risk mitigation test activities such as System IntegrationDemos, Enterprise Assessments, Test Vectors, Modeling & Simulation Coordinate test activities with implementing contractors and staff fromSE&I, Government, and Federal Funded Research organizations Support quarterly Integrated Test Team and other Integrated Product Teammeetings and actionsDescription: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics 9 years of relevant experience Current DoD Secret security clearance Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse group of stakeholders Knowledgeable of space-based systems Strong, proactive leader who takes the initiative to identify, own andsolve customer challengesQualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics Current DoD Top Secret security clearance GPS experience Direct knowledge and working experience with satellite system hardware andsoftware design Hands-on console testing experience or flight operator experienceDesired Qualifications:Engility delivers innovative solutions to critical challenges facing thenation and the world.
