The GPS SE&I Team provides specialized engineering, analysis,operations support, and subject matter expertise to the SMC/GP Directorateand other GPS customers. The team also provides systems engineering andanalysis services to include system development, enterprise and systemarchitecture, acquisition, testing, operations, and sustainmentsupport for existing and new capabilities. Team members also provide anenterprise perspective for identification and review of risks and riskmitigation plans and work to institutionalize systems engineering bestpractices across the SMC/GP Directorate organization.Major duties of the position include: GPS SE&I Test Lead for all aspects of a Space/Ground/User IntegratedSystem Test (IST) Support ISTs for GPS Contingency Ops (COps) and M-Code Early Use (MCEU) Works from Colorado Springs corporate office in direct support of SMC/GPEVto include coordinating test activities, deconflicting schedules, andleveraging opportunities with SMC government personnel at Peterson AFB CO andLos Angeles AFB CA, SMC, 50th Space Wing & 310th Space Wing Governmentpersonnel at Schriever AFB CO, Lockheed Martin development contractors,Lockheed Martin operations and sustainment contractors, and Air ForceOperational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) personnel Execute enterprise-level test planning, test execution, and test closurefor system-level requirement verification Perform system-level analysis and simulation activities to ensure GPS systemend-to-en Execute and support test article tracking, deficiency reporting and testreport generation Analyze and strengthen GPS segment (Space, Control, and User)verification and validation test activities Participate in risk mitigation test activities such as System IntegrationDemos, Enterprise Assessments, Test Vectors, Modeling & Simulation Coordinate test activities with implementing contractors and staff fromSE&I, Government, and Federal Funded Research organizations Assimilate information from other POCs and IPTs and brief the correspondingchallenges and technical recommendations for your area of responsibility inquarterly Integrated Test Team and other Integrated Product Team meetings andactionsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Field, such as Engineering, ComputerScience, or Mathematics 9 years of relevant Test experience with emphasis in Satellite Command &Control Current DoD Secret security clearance Proven past performance leading a diverse group of stakeholders, such asGovernment, prime developer contractors, Federally Funded Research andDevelopment Contractors (FFRDC), Systems Engineering and TechnicalAssistance (SETA), and Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) First-hand experience working with space-based systems Strong, proactive leader who takes the initiative to identify, assess,own and make technical recommendations to solve customer challengesDesired Qualifications: Master's Degree in Technical Field, such as Engineering, ComputerScience or Mathematics Current DoD Top Secret security clearance GPS experience Direct knowledge and working experience with satellite system hardware andsoftware design Hands-on console testing experience or flight operator experienceEEO Statement:Engility Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer,making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed,sexual orientation, gende
