Open Date 10/4/2018 Full-Time/Part-Time Full-TimePosition Ground Based Radar (GRB) Test Analyst (JNY) Location MCSG -Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs Shift -not applicable- DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Analyze software and hardware requirements to ensurefeasibility of design and test. Use Design of Experiments and Combinatorialtesting techniques as required. Develop test procedures to verify requirementsand to ensure deficiencies are adequately tested with new releases andupgrades. Generate test reports containing data analyses and recommendationsfor field, do not field or field with limitations results. Subject matterexpert providing testing expertise in support of operational test andevaluation of Upgraded Early Warning Radar Systems. Direct and/orparticipate in all phases of test management with the emphasis on userrequirements, test design and test tool selection. Analyze recorded datacollected during test evaluations and report out independent findings asprescribed by squadron guidance. Provide an independent assessment of how thesystem under test performs with regards to customer statement of requirements.Provide regular progress reports, either verbally or in written reportform, of the ongoing evaluation throughout the entire test process asprescribed and as requested.PRIMARY DUTIES:Provide test support through development of documentation including; TestPlan, Data Management and Analysis Plan, Test Execution Procedures, TestReport and Detailed Analysis Report, surveys.Build test scope using Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Objectives,Measures of Effectiveness and Suitability (MOEs/MOSs), and Measures ofPerformance (MOPs).Develop test approach with the purpose of performing statistical analysis toevaluate system performance. Test approach will include the inclusion ofscenario injection and real-world system operations.Conduct test execution of Upgraded Early Warning Radar systems to assessmission performance.Direct data collection activities and verify all required test objectives arecomplete.Evaluate data and assess system performance using the collected test data,the validated truth data, and the methodologies and tools developed duringtest planning.Conduct detailed statistical analysis on collected data using JMP or otherdata tools to characterize data and look for negative trends to determinesystem effectiveness.Collect and analyze maintenance data to determine suitability to meetreliability, availability, and maintainability requirements.Build surveys to be provided to system operators and maintainers to evaluateacceptability of human factors, documentation, training safety, andother areas as applicable.Write technical reports to accurately describe problems encountered duringtesting, analysis techniques, an
