Information Technology (IT) SupportLocation: Colorado Military Health System Office, Colorado Springs, COWork Schedule: Typical work schedule: Works Monday through Friday. Shiftsmay be 8 to 10 hour per day, but will not go over 40 hours a week. Dutieswill need to be performed at the CMHS Office during core clinic hours(0700-1704.2. Occasional nights and/or weekends may be required to assist in networkupgrades. In the event of night or weekend duties, the times will bepre-coordinated a minimum of 14 days out and the total time for the calendarweek will not be over 40 hours.SUMMARY: The Contractor shall provide technical and operational IT supportto the Colorado Military Health System Office (CMHS) staff and to users ofCMHS managed support systems.1.0. DUTIES:1.1. IT Support. Work completed under this contract must be consistent withpolicies and standards specified by the Government.1.2. General. The Contractor shall provide technical on-site assistance toCMHS staff to support their use of personal computers, laptop computers,software, peripheral hardware, telephones, cellular phones, handhelddevices, and audio-visual and reprographic equipment. Support will includeprocedural compliance with DoD and Service-specific LAN/WAN securityrequirements. Support will include use of Windows -based operating systems(primarily XP), Windows Office 2003 Suite , other off-the-shelfproducts, and non-standard hardware and software products such as CHCS(Composite Health Care System) and CHCS II, Avaya Appointing System,M2, and others. The Government will provide technical training to theContractor as required. Support shall be provided during standard operatinghours (0730-1630). However, occasional special projects may requireirregular hours. Frequent coordination (via telephone and in person) withexternal agencies maintaining support for WAN/LAN, telephones, andvarious other systems will be required. Duties may require the use of aGovernm1.3. IT support activities include, but are not limited to:1.3.1. Establishment of new user accounts, and monitoring user compliancewith security standards.1.3.2. Installation and configuration of hardware and software.1.3.3. Troubleshooting and problem resolution of hardware and software.1.3.4. Support to Multi-Service Market supported community for appointingcenter hardware/software.1.3.5. Scheduled maintenance, minor repair, and tracking of warranty andservice call repairs.1.3.6. Problem documentation, trend analysis, and reporting.1.3.7. Problem escalation (when required), including coordinating withsupport service providers.1.3.8. Coordination with external agencies to procure and manage services,support, hardware and software.1.5. Security and Privacy Requirements. CMHS will assist in obtainingidentification cards, vehicle registration, etc. required to accomplishtasks under this work statement. Contractor personnel must be designatedInformation Technology (IT)-2 and security clearance in accordance withArmy Regulation 25-2 (paragraph 3-3(a)). The Contractor will complywith all U.S. Government information assurance, information protection,and privacy rules and regulations, including completion of all initial andongoing training requirements. The U.S. Government will make all requiredsecurity and privacy training available to the Contractor. Failure to maintainthese standards shall be grounds for contract termination.2.0. Travel:2.1. Transportation. Transportation between training sites and work siteswithin the Colorado Springs metropolitan area is the responsibility of theContractor.2.2. Travel. Duties will ordinarily be performed in the CMHS Office, butoccasional travel within the Colorado Springs metropolitan area (to includethe USAF Academy, Fort Carson, Peterson AFB, and Schriever AFB) willbe required.
