COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for an Information Technology (IT) Engineering Systems Analyst to provide technical advisory and assistance to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) specific to IT systems architecture and engineering designs. The position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. The job duties are listed below.
Directly contribute to the overall enterprise cloud architecture and security vision and strategy around cloud-based applications across all service delivery models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
Oversee the design and development of IT and security architectures for cloud-based systems in support of the MDA mission
Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development contractor team organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions and ensure security is integrated into all solutions
Review proposed architectures and designs for accuracy, completeness and alignment with IT enterprise and mission event requirements
Provide support with planning, deploying, and supporting IT network and infrastructure solutions; including developing segment, transformational and transition architectures
Provide cost estimates and business cases
Review configuration changes
Provide quality assurance oversight and assist with maintenance and patching schedules to determine any impacts to IT operations and mission test activities
Analyze DODAF views for technical accuracy and relevance based on business and functional requirements
Maintain cognizance of all assigned projects through completion
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8 years total related experience
Active DoD SECRET security clearance
Demonstrated operational support experience and attention to detail
Ability to quickly and accurately process multiple assignments with aggressive timelines in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
Cloud Security and Architecture related certifications
Experience designing and implementing Cloud architecture for new cloud computing systems or migrating existing systems to cloud architectures
Familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, or VMWare products
Familiar with Security Technical Implementation Guides
Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework
Familiar with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
