DescriptionLinQuest is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with C++ development skillsto join our team at our office in Colorado Springs, CO.The GIANT team is looking for talented and motivated engineers to advance thestate of the art of Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) modeling andsimulation (MandS). The Global Position System (GPS) Interference AndNavigation Tool (GIANT) is employed by engineers and operators throughoutthe US DoD and by our allies to design, test, train, and operate bothcurrent and future PNT capabilities in realistic, challenging NavigationWarfare (NAVWAR) scenarios. As a Software Engineer, you will join afast-paced agile team to create and integrate new algorithms and sensormodels, develop and integrate interfaces, and ensure continuousimprovement of the software and associated databases. Engineers on thisinterdisciplinary team collaborate to deliver a complete softwarecapability, covering everything from working with customers to define anoperational need through deployment and training, to enable our warfighters toAs a Junior Software Engineer, you will develop engineering software topredict the performance of current and future GPS and other PNT sensors inoperational scenarios. Tasking includes implementing algorithms to simulatethe performance of GPS, communication system, and sensor performance;developing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for configuration and datavisualization; and creating application programming interfaces (APIs) toprovide other applications access to the core simulation features.
