We are looking for a Software Engineer with a DevOps focus to join our L3Harris Space Control team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The software engineers work across multiple programs setting up consistent CI/CD pipelines ensuring we are delivering to our customer quickly and with high quality. We are mission focused, agile, and take innovation seriously.
Analyzing, designing, developing release automation for operations and applications
Define best practices, guidelines and standards that balance short and long-term objectives in a practical manner
Manage and maintain CI/CD tools within a team
Work within Linux and Windows environments
Create and monitor health checks for the services on our programs
Deploy updates and fixes; providing technical support and direction to other software engineers
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Build tools to improve automation, reduce occurrences of errors, and continuously improve our pipeline
Promote DevOps as a culture
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, OR, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Prioror current experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment strategies
Prior or current experience troubleshooting incidents in a production systems
Prior or current experiencewith Kubernetes
Prior or current experiencewith Docker and Docker Compose
Prior or current experience managing CI/CD servers and agents in Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar application
Prior or current experience with Artifactory, Nexus, or similar application
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred/Desired Additional Skills:
Developing CI/CD configuration as code such as Jenkins files or bamboo specs.
System administration and /or network administration experience, especially in Centos or RHEL.
Familiarity with managing Jira, Mattermost, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
Experience with Platform One and/or DI2E
