LinQuest Lead System Architect in Colorado Springs, Colorado

DescriptionLinQuest Corporation is searching for a Lead system Architect to work on themission systems engineering and integration (MSE.and.I) contract in supportof the Space Development Agency (SDA). The role of the MSE.and.I Contractoris to provide the infrastructure and effort required, under the Tranche 0Program Office direction, to ensure that the Tranche 0 Tracking,Transport, and Ground Segments operate in unison to support Warfightermission scenarios and experiments.SDA is responsible for defining and monitoring the DoD's futurethreat-driven space architecture and accelerating the development and fieldingof new military space capabilities necessary to ensure our technological andmilitary advantage in space for national defense.The position is full time and work location is flexible among theselocations: Chantilly, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Huntsville, AL;Los Angeles, CA. An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required. You willwork as part of geographically distributed, networked team.Duties and responsibilities of the position include:Develop architectural and technical schematics showing interactions (e.g.,operational functions, data, physical connections, and timing) amongthe Tranche 0 segments and their various elements;Lead development of System views, with emphasis on Space architecture.Create, define, deliver, and maintain architecture products to performmission and system integration across the segments and Contractors.Develop system and space segment level requirements.Analyzing proposals, changes, and modifications to current architecture.Ensuring, using a lean, low-cost approach, the compatibility andinteroperability of all elements of the SDA system and segments;Managing effort with Government to Government relationships at key interfacesor deliverable points.Required Skills:Familiar with DoDAF artifactsAbility to hold schedule while providing a "minimum viable product" thatenables the warfighter to experience the system's unique capabilities inreal scenarios and provides SDA insight into how the product should evolve.Ability to prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changingenvironment within the space and LV industries.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skillsHave very good organization and planning skillsClear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skillsAbility to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to thecustomerAbility to coordinate with numerous stakeholders/customers from DoD agenciesto commercial industryKnowledgeable in the use and application of MS Office suite - specificallyproject, word and excelPreferred Skills:Working knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools(e.g., SparxEA, Cameo)Detail oriented and the ability to organize, prioritize and address multiprogram schedules simultaneouslyAbility to learn and adapt to the use of new tools that may be used in futureSDA and MSE.and.I activitiesFamiliar with integration of new technologies into warfighter environments,systems, system interfaces, operations, and engagement exercises.
