Job Description:

Servesas a technical specialist for the company in the application of advancedtheories, concepts, principles, and processes, for assigned areas ofresponsibility. Explores unique or controversial subject areas, defines scope,selects problems for investigation, and develops concepts and approaches.

Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, andprocesses, in specialized areas of expertise serves as company specialist. Actsindependently to recommend changes in the technical approach or emphasis ofprojects, and completes progress and/or conceives plans, and develops newtechnical methods or approaches as warranted by advancements in thestate-of-the-art technology. Provides direct communication of unique/innovativepractices between the company and the client.



  • Requires a BS degree in appropriate discipline and a minimum of 14 years of direct engineering experience, or a MS degree and 12 years of direct engineering experience, or a PhD degree and 9 years direct engineering experience.


  • Secret with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Most work will be done at a desk or computer.

Work Environment:

  • General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.


  • Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and mustnot impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must put forward aprofessional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork andcooperation.

Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of theorganization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with theability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must workwell under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel asneeded. Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motorvehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
