LinQuest Mission Integration Engineer, Senior in Colorado Springs, Colorado

DescriptionLinQuest Corporation is searching for a Senior Mission Integration Engineer towork on the mission systems engineering and integration (MSE.and.I) contractin support of the Space Development Agency (SDA). The role of the MSE.and.IContractor is to provide the infrastructure and effort required, under theTranche 0 Program Office direction, to ensure that the Tranche 0 Tracking,Transport, and Ground Segments operate in unison to support Warfightermission scenarios and experiments.SDA is responsible for defining and monitoring the DoD's futurethreat-driven space architecture and accelerating the development and fieldingof new military space capabilities necessary to ensure our technological andmilitary advantage in space for national defense.The position is full time and work location is flexible among theselocations: Chantilly, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Huntsville, AL;Los Angeles, CA. An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required. You willwork as part of geographically distributed, networked team.Duties and responsibilities of the position include:Develop a detailed Mission Operations integration plan in coordination withNRL, specified DoD operation entities, the SV Contractors, and otherstakeholdersSupport the Capstone (Mission) detailed design, analysis, planning,and integration activities;Work with these stakeholders (Segments, Users, Partners) to defineoperational details, lower-level use cases (mission elements orcomponents), requirements, interfaces, and controlling documentsDevelop architectural and technical schematics showing interactions (e.g.,operational functions, data, physical connections, and timing) amongthe Tranche 0 segments and their various elementsEvaluate the demonstrations, simulations, and testing required todemonstrate mission capability and document the interfaces, internal andexternal operations and resources required to successfully accomplish themSupport the development of planning documents, memorandums of agreement orunderstanding, and any other documentation requiredEnsuring, using a lean, low-cost approach, the compatibility andinteroperability of all elements of the SDA system and segmentsManaging effort with Government to Government relationships at key interfacesor deliverable points.Required SkillsAbility to prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changingenvironment within the space and LV industries.Familiar with space/mission system integrationAbility to perform risk reduction activities and end-to-end demonstrationplans coordinated with the Segments and segment elements;Ability to hold schedule while providing a "minimum viable product" thatenables the warfighter to experience the system's unique capabilities inreal scenarios and provides SDA insight into how the product should evolve.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skillsHave very good organization and planning skillsClear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skillsAbility to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to thecustomerAbility to coordinate with numerous stakeholders/customers from DoD agenciesto commercial industryKnowledgeable in the use and application of MS Office suite - specificallyproject, word and excelPreferred Skills:Detail oriented and the ability to organize, prioritize and address multiprogram schedules simultaneouslyAbility to learn and adapt to the use of new tools that may be used in futureSDA and MSE.and.I activitiesFamiliar with integration of new technologies into warfighter environments,systems, system interfaces, operations, and engagement exercises. Thisincludes planning, demonstrations, accreditation's, and logistics.Required Experience:BS degree in electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a relatedscientific or technical discipline13+ years of relevant experience in space mission/system...
