MITRE’s Strengthening Coalition Capabilities (N124) department solves challenging integration and interoperability challenges across the US Security Cooperation Enterprise (SCE). We work with our US and international partners to advance mutual policy objectives, better position collaborative capabilities, and enhance concept and mission employment across the SCE lifecycle. N124 seeks passionate technical and domain engineers looking to get involved in solving multi-faceted international challenges impacting US and coalition mission effectiveness.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute complex models and analyses to further C3I and Systems of Systems mission engineering and identify areas for applying innovation and latest technical advances.
Apply Modeling, Simulation, Analysis and Digital Engineering concepts and practices to our sponsor and partners’ most critical challenges.
Implement various systems engineering activities in support of larger projects
BS in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. (HR will insert)
Demonstrated team and collaboration skills across diverse set of thinking and disciplines.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.
Exposure to hands on systems development, architecture, modeling, simulation, lab, or related project work (professional, internships or education based).
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance which will require US citizenship.
Exposure or demonstrated work with tools, methods, and practices related to modeling, simulation, prototyping, or experimentation.
Demonstrated interest in complex enterprise thinking.
Exposure to international collaboration (including study abroad).
Exposure to systems level thinking and design.
Exposure to C2, space, sensors, distributed ops, or related commercial or defense domains.
