Multimedia and Software Development SpecialistDuty Location: Colorado Springs, COSecurity Clearance: Secret Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and mustbe able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classifiedinformation; Secret clearance is required.Summary:One of four members of the Distributed Learning (DL) Team within the JointBMD Training and Education Center (JBTEC). Primarily it is a supportposition, providing general assistance to the rest of the DL Team and theJBTEC by creating products to satisfy a wide variety of requirements.Primary Responsibilities:Typical products are web-based training modules, videos, animationclips, short videos, web pages, and other electronic media-basedproducts. Key attributes for success include the ability to quickly learn newsoftware, communicate well with coworkers, and proactively seek creativesolutions to problems.Minimum Qualifications: Web-based/computer-based training development Training and Development including knowledge of Instructional SystemsDevelopment (ISD) Recording and edit audio Gamification Photo and other image editing Video editing Creating activities / games using a variety of digital media MS SharePoint Microsoft Office basicsPreferred Qualifications: B/S degree Experience in Adobe Suite: -Specifically: Captivate, Flash/Animation, and Photoshop Military background (Missile Defense a plus) Programming / Coding (HTML, C++, Action Script, Java, etc.) Computer Security certifications Website design and development Organized and motived Attention to detail Interpersonal communication skills Self-motivatedThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature andlevel of work performed by employees within this classification.
