Network and Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Apply knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks. Advise on an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events and data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement, deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware and software required to manage the organization’s Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Provide work leadership to junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with standard Cyber vulnerability assessment and security tools, including ACAS, Retina, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, as outlined in the NIST 800-53

-5+ years of experience with VMware, Cisco networking, or switching devices

-5+ years of experience with networks architecture, databases, TCP/IP, VLANs, Cyber vulnerability remediation, and Cyber risk analysis

-Ability to research Cyber vulnerabilities and issues, develop and present solutions, and train clients on how to remediate

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

Additional Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity for space systems

-3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity architecture, including ISE, PKI, vCenter, GPOs, Certificates, Blade Servers, TACLANES, and VMware ESX 3.x, 4.x, and 5.x

-3+ years of experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) and Security Readiness Guidelines (SRGs)

-3+ years of experience with CCRI process and scoring

-Ability to produce high quality reports and recommendations for clients

-BA or BS degree in an IT, Cyber, or Engineering field preferred; MA or MS degree in an IT, Cyber, or Engineering field a plus

-IAT or IAM Level II or III Certifications, including CISSP

-Technical certifications, including Windows Certification

-Completion of CANES or ISNS training or CISCO knowledge and virtualization training, including VMware or Hyper-V

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
