Job Description Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses k nowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard c oncepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limite d experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety o f tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor.-Oversees all IT for job site, coordinates long haul Ethernet circuit activities, oversees junior I T Helpdesk staff, reports to NOC manager, escalates Tier 2 and TIer 3 issues to NOC. Shift or on call work may be required.
